Johnson County Community College

The Licensed Practical Nurse and Certified Nursing Aide programs complete clinical rotations at Evergreen Community to gain the skills necessary to be successful in the healthcare profession.

The Advanced Education in Long-Term Care course is offered as a certificate program through Johnson County Community College. Continuing education contact hours will be awarded to therapists through our partnership with:

Baker University

Baker University has approved the Advanced Education in Long-Term Care course for 2 college credits and the Management & Leadership in Long-Term Care course for 1 college credit. Both classes may be taken as electives toward a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Bachelor of Science in Management, or Bachelor of Business Administration.

Olathe School District

The Olathe School District offers a unique course to students interested in the healthcare field. Students in the course are able to spend time at Evergreen Community and interact with the residents and staff. They gain valuable knowledge of the healthcare profession and develop meaningful relationships with nursing home residents.
