Chris Osborn, RN, MBA

Chris has ten very active years in long-term care. He knows first hand, from experience, the role of a CNA, Charge Nurse, Quality Assurance Coordinator, Assistant Director of Nursing, and Director of Nursing. Contributory achievements include public speaking and training, course development, team building, financial management, systems development and implementation, and focus on regulatory issues. He has spoken about Culture Change and Leadership for American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, Pioneer Network, American College of Health Care Administrators, Missouri Association of Homes for the Aging, Utah Health Care Association, and Johnson County Community College.
In April 2002 Provider magazine published an article on pain management that he co-authored. Then in 2005 The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid cited the article in the newly revised “Guidance to Surveyors” and posted the article on the “Sharing Innovations in Quality” web repository. He has been very active in bringing culture change to long-term care and has worked with the national Green House Organization to bring a new model of caregiving to Kansas.
