MDS 3.0 Basics

● Discover the history and rationale behind the development of the RAI process
● Learn how to accurately code the MDS 3.0
● Understand how to comprehensively work the Care Area Assessments (CAAs)
● Gain knowledge and tools necessary for accurate completion of BIMS, PHQ9, and other required resident interviews and assessments
● Make sense of QIs, QMs, and QIOs, and learn how to use them to help your community
● Understand Case Mix and how accurate coding can make or break your community's reimbursement
● Discover resources that will help you gain proficiency and confidence with the RAI process

Course Description

Our MDS course is taught by a AANAC certified instructor who works in long-term care, has been the Director of Nursing, and understands the daily challenges of coding MDSs correctly. We connect with your staff and work through those challenges and provide tools and resources for success. This course is designed to provide your staff the tools to understand and accurately code the MDS.
