MDS 3.0 Update

● List the newly required additional assessments
● Learn how to accurately code the MDS 3.0 and understand the "rule of three"
● Understand how to comprehensively work the Care Area Assessments (CAAs) and how they differ from RAPs
● Discover the critical timing changes in MDS 3.0
● Gain knowledge and tools necessary for accurate completion of BIMS, PHQ9, and other required resident interviews and assessments
● Describe how RUGs IV differs from RUGs III, and the financial impact that it could have on your community

Course Description

Our MDS course is taught by a AANAC certified instructor who works in long-term care, has been the Director of Nursing, and understands the daily challenges of coding MDSs correctly. We connect with your staff and work through those challenges and provide tools and resources for success. This course is designed to provide your staff the tools to understand and accurately code the MDS.
